Metrology Engineer, Almaty
Requirements:
Higher professional education;
Experienced PC user;
Proficient in text, spreadsheet, and graphic editors, as well as other application software.
Necessary Knowledge:
Regulatory documents, methodological and normative materials regarding the work performed;
Key provisions of the State system for ensuring the unity of measurements of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
Rules for accounting and norms for the issuance and storage of calibration seals, plastic seals, and labels;
• Equipment used during calibrations, principles of operation, technical specifications;
• Research methods, rules, and conditions for performing work;
Basic requirements for technical documentation, materials, and products;
Current standards, technical conditions, provisions, and instructions for the preparation and formatting of technical documentation;
- Methods for conducting technical calculations;
• Rules and norms for labor protection, safety, industrial hygiene, and fire protection.
Responsibilities:
Calibration of electrical measurement instruments with accuracy class 0.2 (0.25) and less:
• AC ammeters;• AC wattmeters;
• AC voltmeters;
• Voltage transformers;
• Current transformers;
• Electric energy meters.
Verification of electric energy accounting measurement complexes (IEAC)
• Check the completeness of documents;
Evaluation of the metrological characteristics of the measuring instruments used in the automated system for commercial accounting of electric energy (ASCAE);
• Check the availability of the used measuring instruments in the State Register of Measurement Instruments of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the timeliness of their calibration;
• Measure secondary loads of current and voltage transformers:
• Measure voltage drop in the circuit of the electric energy meter;
Preparing the passport for the measurement complex;
Expertise of obtained results for compliance with the Electrical Installations Rules;
Issuing a certificate of conformity for the IEAC to the Rules of the functioning of the automated system for commercial accounting of electric energy for wholesale market participants.
Maintaining journals of working measurements.
Technical maintenance of reference standards for measuring instruments.
Working Schedule:
5-day work week, full-time (from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM)
Probation period: 3 months.
Salary: 160,000 - 180,000 tenge.
