The history of SEG LLP dates back to when it was an integral part of "TNS-INTEC."
During that time, "TNS-INTEC" was engaged in the development and implementation of innovative projects for automation technologies across Kazakhstan. The main areas of activity included automated process control systems and automatic control systems in the oil and gas industry and manufacturing.
With the development and changing market conditions, SEG LLP decided to become an independent company while retaining its expertise and focus on automation. Now, SEG LLP specializes in several key areas, including automated systems for commercial energy resource accounting and telemetry in energy and utilities, as well as management systems for rolling stock, including rail, road, and water transport, and railway automation systems using modern microprocessor technology.
SEG LLP continues to provide clients with innovative solutions, addressing both individual and complex automation challenges. Its goal is to enhance the efficiency of production technological processes and support clients in advancing to a new level of development.
The system has been installed on approximately 632 diesel locomotives and 311 electric locomotives. Installation and commissioning work was carried out at 12 diesel and 5 electric locomotive repair bases throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The implementation of the Automated Control System for Electric Train Traffic (АСУ ЭДТ) was completed as a turnkey project with subsequent service support throughout the duration of the long-term contract, which includes software development, supply of server equipment, installation of data collection points at locomotive depots and crew rest points, development of personal data collection devices for locomotive drivers, and onboard equipment for locomotives.
The main purpose of the АСУ ЭДТ is to provide comprehensive automation and informational support for business processes regarding the accounting, control, and analysis of consumption: electricity (used for train traction and heating of passenger cars) and diesel fuel (consumed by the diesel locomotive during equipment and operation in all modes) in real time.
The locomotives and electric locomotives of “Lokomotiv” JSC were equipped with highly accurate unique measuring equipment for accounting diesel fuel consumption and electricity consumption. Thanks to the implementation of innovative technologies and rational use of fuel and energy resources, the Client was able not only to improve the efficiency of railway transportation by reducing energy costs in train traction but also to enhance the management structure of the energy complex, utilizing the most effective technologies available today.
The railway section Kandagash-Nikeltau is 136.1 km long.
Within the framework of the project, a complete range of services was performed, including construction and installation work at all stations and sections of the Kandagash-Nikeltau railway, installation and commissioning of equipment, testing works, and training of the operational staff in the use and maintenance of the newly introduced devices.
The primary purpose of the system is to ensure the safety and regulation of train movements on the Kandagash-Nikeltau railway section.
To address the tasks set by the Client, a comprehensive set of devices necessary for the functions of centralization, signaling, dispatcher management, and movement control was implemented at the stations and sections of the Kandagash-Nikeltau railway. Thanks to step-by-step modernization of the section, none of the intermediate phases caused disruptions in the operation of existing or adjacent systems; on the contrary, it contributed to increased capacity of the section, higher speeds, and improved safety of train movements. The first results of the system implementation showed positive effects just three months after the contract was signed.
Kyzylorda Region. Kumkol Oil and Gas Field.
Specialists from the company carried out the development of project and cost documentation, equipment supply, construction and installation work, and commissioning.
The Automated Commercial Metering System (ACMS) of JSC "PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources" serves as an automated source of information for commercial accounting of electricity and capacity. The system generates databases for commercial accounting of electricity generation and consumption at each metering point, calculates actual balances of electricity production and consumption, and provides objective information for managing electricity and capacity distribution.
The ACMS of JSC "PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources" has been put into industrial operation and registered in the Register of Commercial Electricity Metering Systems of the system operator of the wholesale electricity market of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The extended implementation period of the project is due to the fact that the system was introduced in several stages. In 2007, the first energy facilities of the Kumkol oil and gas field were equipped, after which the Client, assessing the benefits of working with the new system, annually automates new construction projects.
Western and Eastern branches of JSC "KazTransOil." The implementation of the linear telemechanics system for the main oil pipelines of the Western branch of JSC "KazTransOil" was carried out in the cities of Aktau, Atyrau, Kalamkas, Karazhanbas, Uzen, and Samara. The Eastern branch was implemented in the cities of Shymkent, Pavlodar, Karakoin, Kumkol, and Priirtyshsk.
Technical specialists from our company completed a full "turnkey" package of work—exploratory work, development of project and cost documentation and software, manufacturing and supply of equipment, installation, and commissioning work.
The system provides dispatch control of the technological parameters of oil pumping and operational control of valves on the linear sections of the main oil pipelines.
A unique project due to its scale, covering the majority of the linear sections of the oil pipelines of JSC "KazTransOil."
300 wells distributed across all 12 oil fields in the city of Zhanaozen.
Our specialists completed a full range of services, including site surveys, production and supply of equipment, commissioning work, as well as training the Client's personnel and handing over the systems for industrial operation.
The ISU SHGNU is designed for remote monitoring and control of operational modes, as well as optimization of the operational modes of rod-pump units for oil extraction, transmitting information to dispatch points using GSM technologies.
The ISU SHGNU was developed by specialists from TSO "TNS-INTEC" and is a certified Kazakh product (CT-KZ). A unique software solution was created for this system, with no analogs either in Kazakhstan or abroad. Within the framework of the contract, 300 wells were modernized across all 12 oil fields in the city of Zhanaozen.
Most importantly, the Client achieved an increase in the profitability of oil production due to reduced operational costs, primarily energy costs, increased oil production, and extended maintenance intervals.
